Brainerd Savings & Loan is proud to announce that we now
offer Health Savings Accounts. Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) are a
great “tax advantaged” way to pay for certain medical expenses or to
accumulate wealth on a tax preferred basis. The tax benefits associated
with HSAs are very favorable – contributions are either deductible or
they are tax free when made by an employer and any distribution used to
pay a qualified medical expense is tax free. Employer’s health care
costs should be reduced and employees gain control of their health care
dollars.
